Tree Sculpture Class
Objective: Thom Hunt of Big Bamboo Studios, nationally known concrete artist and sculptor, will be constructing and teaching how to build an armature and sculpt a tree, that will have one of his signature styles and be sure to be very intense!!! We will be teaching how to make your own tools and stamps during this build to create a very realistic tree We will also touch on the process of vine making with a rubber epoxy. The techniques in staining a tree are very important in the process, a bad stain job ca...n ruin a tremendous carve job. We will be showing a failsafe and simple process to pull this off.

   This includes 3 night accomodations and lunches.            

In this class you will learn:

- Carving
- Custom stamp and tool making
- Staining and coloring for realistic looks
- Armatures for the base of the sculpture
- Basics of sealing with acrylics.

Class price is 1495.00 for 3 days of intensive training be prepared to get dirty this is hands on.
Class includes all literature of products used and a dvd copy of the armature shaping process.
